This past weekend I had the privilege to tag alongside my friend and professional wedding photographer Gisele Holloway. She showed me the ins and outs of what to pay attention to, significant details you should never overlook, and which angles and directions to avoid. It was a blast but at the same time it was hard work. We ran around from 2 until 10 and were only able to sit and rest for about 20 minutes while dinner was served. I have gained a whole new respect for all of the wedding and event photographers out there that never miss THE shot, that think about every detail and get the job done well! Here are a few of the shots I took and I do still have to work on a lot if I want to keep learning how to shoot weddings but they are alright. The wedding was at a beautiful remodeled barn in Cumming, GA and the bride and groom both looked absolutely stunning!
Both or their rings and accessories seemed to be meticulously selected and photos do not do them justice. I tried and I hope the beauty shines through. The old, remodeled barn had was decorated with old lanterns, old trinkets, such as old western saddles and center pieces matching the brides bouquet.
The lace dress, just like the beautiful rings, was another stunner that perfectly fit the whole rustic, barn theme.
Congratulations to Jamie and Scott!
